holy carp
I had trimmed some GSP a month ago. That stuff grows like a weed, so I almost have to use it as nutrient export. I left a few chunks of it in a bucket with about 2 gallons of water drained from the tank. No circulation. No heat. No aeration. No water changes. No topoff. No illumination other than the ambient light in the room. After a month in the bucket it still has some good PE. Salinity has crept up to 1.031 Temperature samples throughout the month have ranged from 64°F to 84°F The photo was at dusk, so the color doesn't really show, but those polyps are still green. I've heard claims that people can't keep this stuff alive... I find that difficult to believe. Link to comment
