Hello Everyone,
Here is my current equipment list. We are still pre- wet stage but getting things together now and

Any advice on the lists below would be greatly appreciated. As soon as I get around to buying the rest of my equipment and putting water in the tank I will be sure to post photos and track the progress . Orignial intro in subsequent post.

Here is what I have:
IM Fusion Nano 10 /w 18w Skkye LED (stock lighting was included) exchanged for IM 30L ! (don't know how to change the title of my topic)

An RO system for drinking water (I think this is usable for mixing water for the tank?)

2x Innovative Marine CustomCaddy - still need to figure our the contents - we have some batting from the local craft store for filter floss? carbon, GFO and any advice?

Eheim (Ebo) Jager 150W Heater (13 inch)

Red sea marine care test kit etc

Here is my remaining shopping list:

A pair of clowns, and a gobie or what not (we really like Teeny's GBG's but it's hard to find one in Canada)

some inverts - suggestions welcome

definitely a green cap and some other corals, no definite list yet but something hardy first - We like them all so it's hard to choose right?

After many years of fresh water fish as a child (with probably improper care from what I've learned), I've been researching a marine aquarium for many months now as it's been a wish of mine to have even a basic tank with clowns since childhood. Both of us have always loved looking at the aquariums in on display in stores and at attractions and really appreciate the beauty of marine life. One weekend, my wife and I took our 5 month old to the LFS and she loved it, which finally prompted "the boss" (with all due respect ofc) to agree to a small IM 10G provided it's "low maintenance". I've been reading many threads here and have been inspired by all the amazing nano reefs, especially Teenyreef's 10G, to give it my best attempt at a nano reef with a pair of clowns as the final goal and ofc they might need some other friends. I'm focusing on not jumping into things too quickly and have put together a crude shopping list and am looking for advice to make sure I don't do something terribly wrong and to achieve a stable tank with this "low maintenance" status. I'm still at the pre-wet stage and am not rushing. Have not opened the box to even check if the tank leaks
