Any tips?

Anyone have any tips on getting a long tentacle anemone to actually attach? I know they are sand dwellers so I dug a good sized hole all the way to the bottom glass and put him in there but of course my flow is making it difficult to actually keep it there and it doesn't seem to have any intentions of attaching!

Try cutting a piece of PVC about the same length as its foot. Round off the edges with a file. Clean sand all the way to the glass, and put the PVC there. Pile the sand around(not in) the PVC. Turn off the pumps. Put the nem in the PVC and feed it(silversides work great for feeding nems.) wait an hour and start the pump again.

It may be you have insufficient, or even too bright a light. It's also possible that you have a water quality issue, as well. Some things to look out for when dealing with nems. Especially ones that don't attach, or wander a lot.
