Just thinking outside the box here... to avoid drilling. In that 2nd chamber in the 13 you could put a small return pump, plumb it into the last chamber of the 4.Then repeat the process. Put a stronger return pump in the first chamber of the 4 and plumb it back into the last chamber of the 13 when your main return pump pushes water into the display. i'm sure you could make it look clean. Just you would want to watch back siphoning in case of power failure. Don't want to overflow the 4

hmm my idea was to T the return on the evo13 and have that run into the evo 4 then use the stock pump on the evo 4 to return water into the evo 13. woudl that not work??

It could but you're losing flow through the main tank and if you're using the stock return its not exactly that strong to begin with.

long as i have strong powerhead is it to much of a loss?? and would that cause back chamber issues at all?

I think you'd be fine. But then you have to look at the ugly powerhead in the display ;)

so i set it up and did what you said and it works but im very fearfull of that back syphon so i think imma just gear cheap light and make the center chamber a fuge.
