William
I plan to turn the stock ATO resavoir on my Red Sea Reefer Nano into a tiny frag tank. Demensions: 8"x4.5"x9" I would like a light that would light the whole tank evenly and would allow for good coloration/growth without a large amount of light spillage .... any thoughts? nancymatthews
Sorry, this has nothing to do with LED's. I was wondering what kind of dog is that in your profile pic? Beautiful dog. Link to comment

nancymatthews
Pharaoh Hound (Jax) That's what I thought. He's a beauty. I have a Saluki I adopted when I lived in the Middle East. Her name is Layla. She loves to run and it's fun to watch her. I'm sure Jax is the same way since he's also a hunting dog like Saluki's are. Link to comment

He actually lives back in Texas with my parents now. A small NYC apartment didn't work very well for him Link to comment
Clown79
You can do a par30 or par38 from coral compulsion. They offer both in full spectrum. Link to comment

My only question with this is wearher or not it will be too focused (if right above the tank) or have too much light spillage if it is far away? They don't have any strip light options do they? Clown79
I've used par38's with no issue on a 15g. Many use them. The only way with led to not get any spilling on walls is by making a canopy. If you are looking for long fixtures Current orbit Aquamaxx nemo or marine Link to comment

If you are looking for long fixtures Current orbit Aquamaxx nemo or marine I guess what I am looking for is something less than 8" long that i can place fairly close to the water level that will not have a hugeAmount of spread outside of the area Something like this (I guess) http://m.marinedepot.com/products/zp01407/wave-point-blade-ho-led-aquarium-light-super-blue-10k Or http://m.marinedepot.com/products/uj94547/aquamaxx-nemolight-aquamarine-nano-led-fixture-with-controller-18-watts Link to comment
Clown79
The aquamaxx nemolight I believe is 8". I use it on my 10g. Link to comment
Reefkid88
I think the Nemo light would be better. Especially for having a built in timer and adjustability. Link to comment
