Canadianeh
I am considering to get lighting system for Fusion 40 and narrowed down the options to Kessil A360We or Nanobox Duo Plus M. There is no PAR option on Kessil website, but on Nanobox website PAR information is provided. Considering every features that comes with it, which one is the better choice and why? http://nanoboxreef.com/shop.html http://www.kessil.com/aquarium/Saltwater_A360.php Link to comment

For customer service and controllability, Nanobox. But if you just want a blue, blue light go Kessil. Dave is a great guy though and I'm sure he'll chime in. IMO, go Nanobox. All-around better company. With your tank, I'd actually go with a wide quad. It's what teeny uses. Nick Link to comment
Canadianeh
For someone new like me, the Kessil's controller could be overwhelming as I don't know what adjustment is a good adjustment. Is there a built it automation in the controller that you can set up to mimic a weather in a certain country or area day and night on both Nanobox and Kessil? Link to comment

The ONLY thing that stops me from getting Nanobox is the CAD to USD exchange rate. Its pretty brutal. If there is one thing I can suggest is make sure you see the products in person and in action prior to purchasing. Get a feel for the programming in person and make your decision from there. Not sure if you considered it but, a great option is the new AI Prime HD! Simple and powerful. Link to comment

The controller provided with the NBR units has presets and you can do the above. I am normally even willing to log into your account to help with initial set up settings if needed. Hope this helps! -Dave Link to comment

So this function does not exist on the Duo model I guess. Do your products have UV lights built into it? Link to comment
reefist
All the Nanobox units come with the Bluefish controller and have presets and weather. I have a Duo plus M and it's a great light! Link to comment

Sorry I put NBR for NanoBoxReef. All units come standard with wireless control, mounts, etc. My lights use violet, yes. 410-430nM. -Dave Link to comment
