bob115
So to all of the people who have build their own lights, what do you do with your PSUs? I'm trying to figure something out that is both aesthetically pleasing and safe. Simple project boxes can leave a lot to be desired on both levels. My thoughts are to have the box raised off the ground on short legs with a bottom mounted fan and have the cables entering with either clamping glands or grommets. This should allow for splashing or falling water to roll off while water that is spilled on the floor simply flows under the box. I'm not sure where the second air vent should be placed, however. I suppose an enclosure mounted to the side of the stand would be another option. Link to comment

DaveFason
Depending on your demands look at the Meanwell GST series for larger laptop style power supplies. I always recommend putting the power supplies external. -Dave Link to comment

In my head I'm picturing a rectangular box like described above, if I put the second vent on the side would an over hang be sufficient to keep water from running into the vent? Link to comment
gus6464
Don't get A version, get non letter version which is IP67. So for the above version is would be this one: http://www.onlinecomponents.com/mean-well-hlg240h48.html?p=43123132 Link to comment
