Jaredgib Posted September 19, 2016 Share Posted September 19, 2016 I'm considering a nanobox duo to replace my stock IM fusion 20 gallon stock lights and looking for some feedback from people that are running this light on the same tank. Is this light compatible with the Apex controller? Currently I have one zoa in my tank, with 2 clowns, a shrimp and my CUC. Planning on zoas mainly as this is my first reef tank. Thanks! Water Dog Posted September 19, 2016 Share Posted September 19, 2016 Fantastic light and fantastic service from Dave of Nanobox. I run the Duo's equivalent as a retrofit in my biocube. You would be able to grow anything, from softies to SPS with this set up. Dave can build it for you to be controlled by the VDM ports on your Apex controller. I believe going that route may actually save you a couple of bucks as opposed to going with the Bluefish controller. Link to comment
