Hello!!

I have a 45 gallon tank with

2inches of fine sand

3p pounds of live rock

And with the following livestock

2x Ocellaris Clownfish

1x Firefish

1x Yellow Watchman Goby

1x Tiger Pistol Shrimp

1x Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp

1x Peppermint shrimp

And about 5 snails and hermits

I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for fish and Invertebrates that have personality or cool behaviors that I could add to this tank (i don't care about color). Preferably something that swims a lot because right now I don't have much movement in the tank.

Thank you!!!!,

Mark

I like fan worms, but peppermint shrimp (and sometimes even skunk cleaner shrimp) like to pick at them.

You could add a sixline wrasse. Or if you don't have coral, a coral beauty anglefish would swim a lot. A lot of swimmers are aggressive and/or you might have compatibility concerns (like pseudochromis). But you could probably keep a green chromis.

I think a toby puffer would be cool, especially seeing the one in last months totm. It would definitely take a little extra care and might be a little tough on the shrimp but it would definitely be a centerpiece for a 45 in my opinion.

My pair of ORA Radial Filefish are pretty interesting and are very active swimmers. Liveaquaria has been haveinf a lot of them for sale on Divers Den

Provided you have something to host them (that the clownfish haven't claimed), a mated pair of Pederson anemone shrimp are interesting to watch. They're not picky - could be a ricordea garden, a rock flower anemone or two or in my case, a neat looking rock seems to do the trick despite having all of the above available to them.

They'd small and can easily fade away into the background without something to "anchor" them in the display.
