Is This The Dreaded Brown Jelly?

I haven't had much luck with LPS except for Euphyllia. Almost no Nitrate or Phosphate. Alk is at 9. I've had the same issues with acans and now my Platygyra. Here is a pic of the Platygyra.

 

 

 

I dipped and light acclimated all of these. Is the stuff hanging off of him brown jelly? I sucked some of it off with a turkey baster and it didn't reek.

 

Thoughts?
