Nehsmit
Hi all, I had a bag of chemipure elite in my 24g AIO and just saw that the bag has torn and contents are all over the tank. FOr the last few weeks I have noted my sponges were much darker than usual and my PS was getting black. I had added a new LED light and just thought it may be more algae growth which I am seeing on the glass. Anyway, I looked in teh back of the tank as I was going to change out the chemipure when i noted the bag was torn and empty. Corals and livestock seem to be doing fine. ANything I should do or change? I do weekly 5g water changes. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
Christopher Marks
Are you saying it has passed through the pump and entered the display portion of your AIO tank? Have you checked to see if there is still a lot of filter media at the bottom of the sump portion of the tank? Link to comment

Im sure the fine particles are in the tank as the sponge media is turning black. The bottom portion is where the bag is. Some media there but not all of it. Link to comment
StevieT
Suck out as much as you can from the back and display. It really shouldn't hurt anything as it's in the water all the time anyway. It could clog an impeller though. Link to comment
Christopher Marks
Yes, make sure you turn off your return pump while you siphon out the water and media from the back chambers. Link to comment
