How do you set your Wavemakers?

I just dove into the world of wavemakers. I put a Jebao Wp-10 in here:

Currently have it set to W1, Speed 3 and the knob is turned to 9 o clock. The powerhead is about 3-4 inches down from the rim on the right side glass. It generates a wave that goes all the way across the tank. Its pretty killer. No other flow now besides the internal pump on the other end, which you can see in the tank thread. I don't see any dead spots. Tons of surface movement.

My hammer and Torch seem a little more closed up than normal though. I also hear the water trickling, which can be annoying, plus i get some surface bubbles that make noise. Nothing too bad, but this pump is so quiet that I want my tank to be silent too, if possible.

Just looking for any tips on what to look for when setting these up. I may have done it right and just need to do a few tweaks, but the manual was tough to understand.

Really impressed by this pump so far. Dead silent and incredibly powerful. No way I could run it on full speed.

Looks right, you can just push it down just a little more (0.5 an inch maybe) to reduce the noise and bubbles.

As for the hammer and torch- they could just be getting use to the flow or they don't like the amount of direct flow. If they do not open after a week of having the pump, something needs to be moved.

Ok cool. I have to say this is one of the coolest things I have gotten for a fish tank in a long time. I was 10 years out of the hobby and there was no way this existed at the $35 price AND running basically at complete silence.
