Jayva
Anyone have any? Live aquaria is over dramatic with their stats. I'm upgrading to a new tank. So wouldn't hurt to add a new fish. While nobody has territory. Are they aggressive towards clowns. Or are clowns aggressive towards them? Do they really need cave rock work? Do they jump? Reef safe? Thanks. Link to comment
ReefWeeds
I have one in my 10 gallon. 1. All fish can jump. 2. Mine is agressive, but the only fish in the tank so I can't tell you if it's more agressive than clowns or not but it will nip at anything coming close to its cave and feeds snails that enter its cave to the anemones 3. Yes they need rock work and caves 4. Yes reef safe in my experience Link to comment
Reef Hollister
Mine has a cave that he has staked out as his and is semi aggressive when others invade his territory but it is nothing harmful. I keep a pair of clowns and there has never been an issue between the species. Perfectly reef safe. Great fish for a community tank IMO. Link to comment
uwdanno
I HAD one. Clown or Midas bullied it to death. I suspect the clown. Link to comment
mystersyster
I have a pair. They can get aggressive with my flasher wrasse on occasion, but the flasher brings it upon himself by flashing them. They do need rock work, and will eventually dig a cave under your rocks. IME they do better in pairs, or groups. Otherwise they might end up being pretty shy, but it depends on the fish. Link to comment
Jayva
Hm. Seems like this ain't the fish for me. Maybe I'll try a fire fish. Or no fish. Just coral. Lots and lots of coral lol. Thanks all. Link to comment
