Instant ocean reef crystals.

Ran outta salt. Got a brand new bag of reef crystals for $10 makes 50 gallons.

 

I never used this I use the regular instant ocean salt

 

Will the higher trace elements from this throw anything out of whack? I only add a gallon for water change. 6G fluval edge.

How I got it for $10 was I had a bunch of coupons ?

Should be alright. It prolly just has higher alk and calcium. If you have very finicky corals you can do small water changes daily for a week or 2

I went from io to reef crystals with no worry.

 

The levels aren't that much higher. My mag is constantly low due to the salt.

 

Ca and alk 420/8

 

With Io mag was the same as RC and ca was 400 alk 8
