Daniel Name
Hello! I recently moved to my new apartment and decided to have a new tank. I want to build the tank in a way I can easily do water changes and add filtered water. So I passed under the floor a tube that goes from the RO filter, which is in the laundry room, to the living room where the aquarium will be. This tube will allow me even automate the water exchange in the future. Any comments is appreciated! I'm using a Oceanlife Overflow but it will be inside a corner overflow. This allows me to hide a Vortech MP10 and the pipes. Details: Custom tank: 27 x 20 x 14 in. Custom sump: 20 x 20 x 14 in. Circulation: 2 x MP10W ES Skimmer: Skimz SN123 Return Pump: Waveline 2500DC Heater: Easy Therm 200W Lighting: Aqua Illumination Hydra 26HD Overflow: custom herbie style That's it for now! Should receive the tank and stand in 2 weeks! Link to comment

Daniel Name
It's finally wet! I changed the overflow to a Herbie instead of the Oceanlife. This is a side pic. 45º glass Link to comment

Daniel Name
Nice tank!! Who made it ? I'm from Sao Paulo/ Brazil! If a brazilian reads this topic and want a very professional finish, I highly recommend contacting Wendel at (11) 99596-0189. Just installed lights! I didn't like the wire behind the tank, I still have to find a solution. The wire also unbalance the fixture. Tomorrow I'll transfer my corals to the new tank. Link to comment
Daniel Name
Hello! So I moved the corals from my old tank to this one. I don't have much since my tank crashed from a pump bare wire and most of it died. The tank is full of diatoms now which I hope to go away soon... so far so good. I ordered a screen top as well, waiting to be manufactured. I must say I'm very happy with this overflow. It handles a nice amount of flow and the noise is virtually zero since it doesn't have gurgling noise and bubble noise in the sump. Also I'm planning to automate water changes.. not sure how yet. Daniel Name
Hi, Honestly I'm not very happy with this tank. The black overflow bothers me... I'm planning to create one smaller and substitute. This pic is from 3 weeks a go. Right now I'm having issues with my millepora green.. suddenly it lost all zoos although the polyps are fully open. Still didn't figure the problem! I'm also having some hair algae.. =( IMG_0111 by Daniel Decourt Name, no Flickr Link to comment
