Gravitysheep
So I'm trying to figure out what light to Use on my mr Aqua 12. The tank is completely cycled and ready for some lighting. I have a few options in mind and can't settle. Does anyone here run this tank? What lights are you using? Pictures perhaps if you have them? I'm thinking Marine orbits pro Marine orbits ?? Aquamaxx Nemolight Aquaticlifw marquis 2 bulb t5 2 AI primes .....over kill? Any opinions would be extremely helpful or suggestion of light not on my list. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
What about a buildmyled light. I knew someone with the same tank with one of the original BML lights and loved it. I don't think 2 primes would be overkill. I like the ideas of t5s but bulb combos are going to be so limited. Link to comment
stash98
Running it with Orbit Marine LED. It is fantastic : http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/376374-my-low-iron-mr-aqua-12-gallon-long/ Link to comment
Gravitysheep
I believe the build my LED is no longer making lights for aquariums. Running it with Orbit Marine LED. It is fantastic : http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/376374-my-low-iron-mr-aqua-12-gallon-long/ How long has that torch been in the tank? Are you running the Pro or the regular fixture? Link to comment

Gravitysheep
I use the current usa truelumen pro striplights. Have any shots of the tank? Check out Holy Carp's tank! He's got regular Current Orbit Marine LEDs over his 12l. That's looks pretty good, thanks for the link. It makes me lean more towards the orbits pro. I think I like the color better on the pro Link to comment

Gravitysheep
My tank, Orbit Marine standard, need I say more? Looks pretty good, do you have any sps in there ?? Also what intensity are you running them on. I believe I'm going to with the standard marine orbits. Link to comment
Nixperience
A single AI prime is plenty for your tank and would be the better option. Link to comment
Horerczy
The tank is far too long for a single prime especially when you start factoring rock work in. Link to comment

I have bunch of SPSs in there including montipora encrusting/plating, pocillopora, cyphastrea, setosa, birdnests, acros (still in trial). Link to comment

I wish I could do just one I would go that route. That picture is on 100% blue but I have it on 100% blue/70% white for day time. I still think I might go with the pro version.....maybe. Link to comment

If you ever decide to go with a bigger tank (22L), you can still use the same light. Link to comment

blasterman
Currently running two Mars Aquas over my Mr aqua and love it. Best light for the money. You can pick a pair of them up for less than 200 on fleabay. Just turn them way down for softies or SPS. Link to comment
