15g fish.

So within the next few months I'll be setting up a 15g tank (24x12x12). I'm trying to pick out a couple really cool fish. My gf has a thing for wrasses but seeing as how it will be small and barebottom I'm not sure that'll happen(if anyone has any suggestions lmk). I know they're in every tank but I really like clowns. I was at an lfs yesterday and they had a few orchid dottybacks, which were besutiful. Alright so here's the deal, if you had a 15g barebottom tank what fish would you add to it?

Clowns. You don't have sand so no blennies.

Azure damsels are less aggressive and are very bright blue and yellow.

If you plan on going bigger later and no coral. Bi-color dwarf angel.

Fire fish.

I wouldn't put a Bicolor in that size tank even if you planned to upgrade. The ones I've seen for sale locally are always already 3-4". If you wanted a dwarf angel you could possibly get a Pygmy cherub angel. If I were stocking that tank, I would pick 3 fish of these:

Occellaris Clown (there's some really nice designer ones if you have some $)

Talbot damsel

Tanaka's Pygmy wrasse (sleep in rocks, not sand)

Tailspot blenny

Firefish (can be shy and are jumpers)

Check out igreens guide to nano fish (i'll add the link in a minute)

I still use this (I'm hoping to get another tank so planning now)

I've only seen them a couple times, but yeah they've all been decent sized. Maybe they just don't get juveniles in Canada?

I second this. Also, don't get any fish that like to shift sand, such as the Diamond Watchmen Goby, given you have no sand. If you like Clownfish, you should go with some clowns. I like Ocellaris's the most, they're a lot of cool looking variants.
