A warning for anyone thinking about a dehumidifier

So i got a dehumidifier to keep the humidity below 80% (thats what my tank keeps it at) And the instructions said run it for 24 hours straight. Just a warning DONT DO IT! Mine lowered my humidity to 20% overnight and it gets you very sick. Just thought i'd put that out there so no one else does that step if they buy a dehumidifier.

Just run the drain line to the sump

I run it into a bucket. Is it okay to do that? Im concerned because I have a FW tank and a qt tank in my fish room that i may get something in the tank..

DAMN! Did u have to replace that 5 Gallons back into ur Tank?

yeah but the humidity without a tank is 65%. I think I lost 4 gallons out of the tank. but thats normal out of a 300g with a 75g sump i assume.

LOL! Even with out a tank I could pull that from the air here per hour. I live on the gulf coast and the humidity stays at 80%+ most of the time. It's like swimming, only while standing and with out the pool. But the water is still there.
