Plumbing skimmer without sump

Essentially it is a closed loop. You would drill (at least) two holes for bulkheads, one for the supply and one (or more) for the return(s).

How would the pump fit in? Thanks

I have a mr aqua 17g rimless. Whats the cleanness way to plumb my chiller with out a sump? Looking for ideas.

I assume that this is correct, and that the title is wrong.

You use an external feed pump like the pic on the right (except you plumb the chiller off of the outlet of the the pump). An internal pump has to be inside your tank and pushes water out of the tank, into the chiller (you can still drill and use bulkheads, or just run the plumbing up over the rim of the tank). Hope that helps.
