Im unsure if my clowns are paired. They have been together for about 7 months now. My main concern is they have always hosted two separate anemones. Once i got them in my 300g each of them darted for an anemone about 7 feet apart. They never go near each other unless the anemone is pooping or closed they will host the same anemone but thats about it.

Is 1 noticeably Larger? And not chasing the other?

Maybe the size of the Territory is large enough that there is no territorial issues...

I am just guessing and maybe I am pulling crap out of an un-informed idea/thought?

In other words, I don't know and I don't know why I am replying...Sorry.

Sounds like they may be tolerant if 1 allows the other to visit the other's Nem.

If they aren't killing each other, they're fine.

I have a pair that slept apart because the anemone was small and didn't have enough room for both. The nem split and now they sleep next to each other but still separate nems.

the thing is the anemones are the size of a dinner plate

When i got them one was 1.5 inches and one was 1/8th of an inch. the little one is about 1/2 of an inch now and the big one is about 2 inches now.

Then i guess they are fine. Aggression stopped when i released them into the big tank. In quarantine the big one beat the shit out of the little one
