GunslingerGirl
So I called the municipal water company to confirm they didn't use chloramines... said they did not. Found out in my bill today (1st one) that we go through some baby company that I have never heard of. I rinsed my rocks in tap... assuming we were using Big Name Company... I guess not. As it is sunday and I cannot call Baby Company I want to just get something to dechloraminate the rock. Any suggestions? Or will the chloramine stuck to the rock even make a huge difference if I super rinse in distilled water? Just one headache after another since moving.. jiminy christmas Thanks everybody Link to comment
Astinus
Prime is a good Product for De-chlorinating water. http://www.seachem.com/prime.php I wonder if u put ur rocks in a tub of Water and Prime and run a pump would help? I am guessing though. Link to comment
seabass
Rinsing should be fine. However, I'd probably still add a dose of Prime to the tank with your rocks. Plus, it's nice to have some available if you ever have an ammonia spike when there is livestock in your tank. Link to comment
