GunslingerGirl Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 I was sent the wrong substrate size (1-4mm) was shooting for 1-2mm and around 1.5 inches of sand up to 2 in prime burrow locations. Can I still go the goby/pistol direction with the tank or should I shoot to get a sand percher instead of burrower? I do have rock with built in caves I am hoping they would feel more inclined to use that they would just tweak. Course there is absolutely no predicting what they would choose or prefer. patback Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 It's fine. They will like anything from sand as smooth as silk to sand with full sea shells strewn about. All different coured are used to build their tunnels. Link to comment
