Sal10104
Just got a large shipment of mangroves (500+) and about 50-60 mangroves are just too small for my tank. But they are perfect for nano tanks. They are about 4-6 inches. hoping for .50 cents each. i can ship them for $4.99 VIA USPS. No minimum. I got them in a vase so they stay hydrated. How do you plant them? and are they easy to care for? well you can just take a piece of pool noodle and cut a hole through it and put it on that. I'd give you some of those if you bought some as i use them to ship coral. or you can just plant them in sand, The main thing is that the green tip needs to be above water and the brown part needs to be under water. And as of care just light and if they get salt creep on their leaves just take a spray bottle and spray it off. they are really beautiful plants once their leaves start to come in and if you wanted a taller one i could send you one as he sent me about 600 when i bought 500 and some of my extras are 10+ inches. Sal10104
How good of a light is required? A par bulb and some sunshine work? I would assume. I use 6400K spiral bulbs and they grow at a decent rate. They are slow growers so i can't really say they grow fast. But they are really simple. just some nutrient and an okay bulb grows them. The ones i have for sale here are currently under a 3400K CFL With a small reflector. Link to comment
