Rpc07
Picked up a small acro frag and as always dipped it before putting it in the tank. I'm shocked at how much life came off this small frag. You guys see anything dangerous left behind? Looks like some form of red bugs. Link to comment
ezcompany
could be red bugs in there, could be planaria, who knows. by seeing the pods in there i'm guessing most of the life fell off the plug itself not the coral. but to answer your question yes you should always dip unless you 100% trust the source. GunslingerGirl
Always dip. Always. Don't risk it. Link to comment
Rpc07
With the new tank I have dipped everything that went into it. Not taking any chances. This is the first time I've seen anything but pods left over so I was curious what they could be. Link to comment
Ebn
I dip everything regardless of where it came from. If it's sensitive and needs to stabilize before dipping, I place it in a QT tank beforehand for a few days before dipping. Link to comment
