Yep! I've kept a few tanks since my last thread on NR, nothing worth sharing. I hope to change that with this new cadlights tank.

I added some live rock rubble that was covered in coralline to help seed the tank. Also, I hope it expedites the coralline growth on my dry rock.

Your Tank looks amazing, nice job. I gutted mine and drilled it. Looks like nothing compared to yours.

Need more info, didn't see any fish in your pic, equip, how long has it been running, 3 months?

It's been running longer, since the end of cycle it's been a little over three months.

I'll put a list soon.

Critters: yasha goby and Randal pistol, green spotted mandarin, 2x phantom clowns, and a fire shrimp.

Equipment additions include: PLS50 skimmer and an apex jr with all the bells and whistles.

I focused on buying large pieces of low maintence corals/macros

I've done sps dominated and wanted nothing of that again, just a simple, full tank.

no I agree! I try to buy colonies when I can, fuller tanks are more enjoyable, just saying woah as in bet that cost a nice penny for all the colonies lol

Not even! I'm a pretty good bargain hunter haha. The purple macro was $20, three huge zoo rocks were 30-40$, and the other stuff was picked up from local reefers for reasonable prices. Way cheaper than 3 1" sticks of high end sps lmao or a frag pack from any vendor.

things seemed to have balanced out. Im still not sure what happened. the leading theory is a quick o2 depletion due to macro algae going asexual.

I love sexy shrimp. I have a small pack of them and they are not afraid of anything......they are always up to some sort of trouble.
