Polyresin rocks

Can someone please help me out? I'm about to setup a JBJ 28g cube. I found a really nice polyresin rock piece that I want to use in the tank instead of dried or live rock. Someone told me that the polyresin rock might not have enough surface to colonize the needed bacteria. Does anyone here know anything about this? I don't want to put this into the tank in place of real rock only to wind up having major problems with it in the long run.

Here's a link to the exact piece that I'm talking about. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a resin rock in mine, but couldn't imagine have all the rock be artificial in a tank.

you could easily buy some rock and come up with something much better for that price.. buy a box and throw what u don't use on ebay
