Wrasseman v. Supergramma

What up what up ladies and gents. Got a unique scenario I would like to get some guidance on.

My 40 breeder is currently stocked with 1 melanurus wrasse (model citizen), pair of royal grammas, and a Mccosker's flasher wrasse. The problems are between my female (smaller) royal gramma and my flasher. The flasher is like a chihuahua at times, and circles the little gramma flashing his fins. He never does anything besides that, as he's all bark and no bite. My gramma however isn't afraid to show the flasher who's boss. After about 5 seconds of flashing she'll chase him and bite him. Because of this his fins get nipped, grow back, nipped and grow back. He's never looked like a beatufil flasher because of this. He looks more like a fish MMA star on any given day. I personally think it's because there aren't enough fish to diffuse aggression.

My question is, would it be okay to get 2 more flashers at this point(possibly different species)? If not what fish do you all recommend to diffuse the situation? Thanks a ton!

That would probably work, just make sure you get other flashers that aren't aggressive. Most are fine, maybe a Yellow Fin/Red Fin, Carpenters, etc. I haven't really had any issues with multiple males but can't be sure. You might want to try a fairy wrasse instead of another flasher...Ruby Head, Solaris, etc. My Ruby Head is the boss of the tank but he's not really mean to anyone...just doesn't take sh*t even though he doesn't bite.

Two tone wrasse - Potentially not reef safe

Yellowfin flasher - Would probably be fine, I like these but very similar to what you have now

Blue flasher wrasse - Would probably be fine, fins are cool

Rhino blenny. - Not reef safe but considered peaceful, probably won't be bothered by your current flasher/grammas.

Any objections to all these fish?

I think your grammas are just being normal...if they are a pair and defending their territory then the flasher is asking for it.
