Ruby Reef Hydroplex Dip

Hey I wanted to see if anyone was using this product for a reef aquarium. The information on the website states that the product is not reef safe. My question is can i still dip my new fish in it before introducing them to the tank? Will it harm my corals? I figure that by saying it is not reef safe means you can not use the product directly into the aquarium but what about just dipping the fish in before putting them in the tank?

Also if it is not possible to use Hydroplex is there any other options? A Quarantine Tank is really not something I am looking into due to space and money.

Yes, you would not dose it into a reef tank, but could use it as a dip. I normally don't net fish, but that would allow you to get the fish into your tank without introducing the dip solution.

I would say dipping is fine, just don't get the product in your tank.

Awesome thanks guys....ill most likely dip the fish in the solution and then re dip it into clean water to eliminate any of the solution before putting it in the tank.
