Strands on my Glass

So I've got a tank cycling right now, and aside from the normal diatoms, I'm noticing these weird stringy things on my glass. I'm thinking it's a type of algae but I'm not sure.

I had those too at the saame time as diatoms - fine brown strings on back and glass. Brusged them off with toothbrush and when I added a cuc they went after them.
