Pretty good summary video. If I had calculated better, I would have avoided needing a replacement pump after just 1 year.

 

One thing not mentioned in the video is that the rated flow will decrease as the pump and plumbing get dirty. With my prior pump, I used to notice what I estimated to be about a 15% reduction in flow after 2-3 months when algae and some calcium built up on the shaft, blades, and filter screen of the pump. Of course, a quick vinegar bath brought the performance back, but that was more maintenance that could have been avoided if I had added some more buffer in my calculated flow requirements.
