GotamaHuy
Thanks. So far a I hope to have the shrimp and goby house the rock on the left. Gave them a nice cave. I'll probably throw in a pair of clowns and firefish. As for corals I want a frogspawn on the left side and zoa garden on the right. Don't know what else yet. Probably won't get into sps. GotamaHuy
So here is my data for cycle. I used Bio-Spira and Dr. Tim's ammonium chloride. I must say that the Bio-Spira kicked some butt. I adding 40 drops on day one and added 20-30 drops if the ammonia and nitrite was below 1ppm. I am finally cycled and I am getting a goby/pistol shrimp and tail spot blenny tomorrow! Pictures are coming soon Ammonia Nitrite Nitrate Day 2 0 1 .8 .1 2 .2 .1 .5 3 .2 .5 4 .2 .05 5 .2 .1 6 (I did a 10 gallon water change) 0 .05 7 0 .2 8 0 0 20 9 (I did a 15 gallon water change) Link to comment
GotamaHuy
Update! First off, I bought a candy pistol, yasha goby, and tailspot blenny after the tank had cycled. Sadly, the fish pasted away and the pistol was still alive. I didn't think it was my water since I tested it twice a day after I got the fish. I was pretty bummed and was about to return the pistol thinking it maybe the unlikely culprit. I decided to get another yasha instead, hoping that it was just bad fish and wasn't my fault. I am happy to report that the two have been living together for a week now! I've had the shrimp for almost 2 weeks. They eventually found each other after day 4 and have been living together since. It's pretty cool seeing the two. I got some coral as well. Frogspawn, blasto, and a bunch of different zoas. Coral placement is still up for debate, just seeing where they like to be before gluing them down. I'll be getting another tailspot and a firefish soon as me next fish. More pics! Link to comment
