darkdancer333
I was thinking about his mods for my Red Sea 130d. I was gonna go with AI prime but he said wasn't worth the money and too small for my tank. Heres his link http://shop.stevesleds.com/Red-Sea-Max-130-130D-C130-LED-retrofit-kit-8794102442.htm Link to comment
vegasgundog
I bought a retro kit for the bc 29, no problems at all. The lights work perfectly. Took a while for me to realize I needed them turned way down, like 15 with 40 Link to comment
Merthynia
I also had a retro kit for a bc 14. It worked great, had to keep them turned down since they had some power. Link to comment
darkdancer333
I assume they are good quality led's Link to comment

Horerczy
I tend to have good experience with Steve's. Their leds are Lumileds products so their top notch. Though I prefer not to use their drivers. Link to comment
Bwilkons
Terrible experience so far for me. I placed a order on the 23rd of July and my package still hasn't been sent out. First order was smooth but fan was DOA. Called and they said they would sell me another one at a pro rated price. I can't seem to reach anyone for the past week to check on my order now. So I'm kinda just sitting on my thumbs with a gutted bc tank with some diy makeshift led system I put together to keep my stuff from dying. Just my 2 cents tho Link to comment
darkdancer333
I have had the LED's for 2 weeks now.. Everything works great. I had flickering after 3 days but it was just a loose cable. The only modification i had to do was cut the plastic arch support for the old fans. I was running 1800 channel one and two. My reef store buddy said cut the white led to almost nil I think I have white at 4-5%and blue at 40% Link to comment
vegasgundog
I wouldn't go nil on white, try 15%. Link to comment
Hpad06
Need some suggestion for biocube 14 led setup from steves led I bought the set 2 years old with 9 blue and 5 white, I turn them down a lot since algae would grow too much But my coral has stop growing since I put them in 2 years ago. So what can be the reason? Link to comment
Reefkid88
I've ordered maybe 8-10 times from threm and never had a problem once. Although I never ordered a retro kit. Link to comment
