Rpc07
I did my normal testing last night and got a strange result for ph. At first I used my Red Sea kit and got a result that wasn't on the chart (light pink) Then I used my Ali kit to see what that read and that result wasn't on the chart either. (Fluorescent pink) I'm not sure what to think at this point, neither kits are expired and I followed directions. Alk and calcium are normal at 9 and 410. Link to comment
seabass
Try taking a container of tank water outside, or next to an open window, and aerating it (either with an airstone or using a spare powerhead) for several hours. Then take the pH test again. This will tell you if CO2 is causing this result. Link to comment
