fishfreak0114
Hi, I like your setup . I've never dosed anything myself, but 540 calcium seems kind of high. I'd shoot for around 450. Link to comment
olympus
Thanks fishfreak0114 for you post and yes my calcium is high. I tested fresh batch of saltwater and the result is dkh 8.2 and ca 540. This sunday I changed almost 100% of water. if I only dose 3ml of part b to maintain dkh, I guess ca it will decrease to the correct level. My question is my corals will be stressed when I make 100% of wc and my ca rises again to 540? What do you recommend? My system is only sps and doesn't have fish. i have Kent Zooplex what do you think about dosing this? I appreciate your help! Link to comment

With acros an 100% water change can be risky if the dkh isn't the same as the tank. Link to comment
fishfreak0114
You definitely don't want to shock your corals. If your parameters are going to be way different if you do 100% I wouldn't. I've never used kent zoo plex, I do dose phyto though. I haven't really noticed any difference, but you might as well try it and see what it does for your corals Link to comment

Use the test from a friend and he gave the same measurement You definitely don't want to shock your corals. If your parameters are going to be way different if you do 100% I wouldn't. The parameters are similar to seawater according the test. Someone use it? we 'll see what happens. Thank you Link to comment
