nickkohrn
I'm getting infuriated with this light. Every single time that turn the light off and unplug it while doing maintenance or anything else that requires disconnection from the power source, the @%#?!&$ light will not turn back on. The L.E.D.s of the buttons all turn green, and I cannot get the light to turn back on no matter what I do to troubleshoot it. I've unplugged this, that, waited minutes, reconnected this and that, and it still refuses to do anything but display green L.E.D.s. I have had to call EcoTech twice already and have them reset the light remotely. Looks like I'll be doing the same tomorrow afternoon when I leave work. Have any of you had a similar experience? If so, what did you do to resolve it? I'm open to anything at this point. I can't believe the amount of money I spent on a light that is this difficult to work with when it should be easy. Sorry for the heat, but I'm incredibly disappointed. Link to comment
Sherman
You disconnect its power supply from wall plug for a few days? Link to comment
nickkohrn
You disconnect its power supply from wall plug for a few days? Correct. Since there is no livestock in the tank yet I figured doing so would not harm anything. I was hoping it would work when plugging it back in, but that was not the case. Link to comment
Sherman
I did that once and has the same issue. I think you need to keep the power on all the time. A few hours off seems ok. Link to comment

I contacted EcoTech's customer service and they are sending me a replacement light. It shouldn't be this difficult to get a $500 light to work properly. They also sent me out a replacement RMS because one of the holes in the mount was too large to hold a screw. So far, I have been extremely disappointed with my Radion experience, besides the helpful people in their support team. Link to comment

intarsiabox
Hi Nick, Beside this small issue Radion is a very good light The light not working at all is a small issue? What's it take to be a big issue, becoming self aware and trying to kill you in your sleep? JK I had a Radion G3 a year or so ago and had the same thing happen, it just wouldn't come on one morning. I ended up deleting the software on my computer and reinstalling it using a different browser and it worked. I had to repeat this procedure using different browsers to connect to the light just about anytime I wanted to make a change, I had to alternate between Safari, Chrome, Fire Fox and Explorer and eventually one would connect. I ended up getting rid of it after a year as the software never got better, could be the connection problem was within the light itself but I wasn't going to chance a second light. Link to comment
