Bamzam
I got a lobo recently and when I came home today it looks like it got ripped? Is this something that is due to water parameters? Or could my shrimp/snails/clowns have done this? https://imgur.com/xq5shPq Original photo below https://imgur.com/VVFQPcq Link to comment
Tamberav
Looks like it is receding, although something could have been picking at it too. What sort of shrimp do you have? What is your alk? Do you dose alk? If so, how much? Sometimes low alk or unstable parameters will cause LPS to recede. Link to comment
Bamzam
I have one cleaner shrimp. Alkaline is 7.0. Not currently dosing other than kalkwasser in my ato. I do 2 gallon water changes every Sunday and Wednesday (11 gallon tank, holds about 10 gal). None of my other lps/sps seemed to be receding Link to comment
Bamzam
Also worth noting that the lobo has only been in my tank for 3 days. I noticed one of my clowns hanging around it a lot Link to comment
cruiZe
that stinks!! That could happen if it was getting blasted by flow but it looks like its in a corner ... Watch to see if anything is getting to it like Tamberav said... other than that you might just have to wait and see (trust me I know how frustrating that is) Link to comment
