Chuck_Burg
This is my first post. I just added a new hammer coral to my 10 gallon nano yesterday. I'm not sure if i hurt him somehow placing it in the tank but 1/3 of him doesn't look good, lots of white slime covering the polyps and the polyps have receded from the skeleton. Any thoughts? Elizabeth94
Anyone? I brought him back to the LFS for a dip. Hopefully it'll be alright Have them dip it in an iodine solution to kill any bacteria. I would even frag it if it doesn't look any better tomorrow so you can save the other head. You think maybe you bumped that head when placing it in the tank? Since the other head looks perfectly healthy I wouldn't think it is a water concern. Link to comment
Chuck_Burg
I don't think the water has any issue because all the other corals are fine! Thanks Link to comment
