That is not too much inflation. They can get t o the point of literally looking like a fully inflated balloon. think of a green or orange baseball under the water with feeder tendrils. Hmmm thats cool. I guess he just got fed up with his current spot after 6 months. could be. Any changes lately? Maybe an inhabitant changed its favorite spot and is now bothering it, Or maybe the spot you initially put it in was "good enough" for it to live a while, But after all this time its realizing "I may need less flow" or something of the like.
