darkdancer333 Posted July 10, 2016 Share Posted July 10, 2016 I have a firefish who has been dormant lately he just hides by his rock breathing heavy. I notice a small round brown spot but his fin. Its not black just a dark brown. I was wondering if there is a treatment for this. Years ago I treated a yellow tang who had a black spot with q-tip and iodine. but not sure if the same treatment be advised for this guy Link to comment
CronicReefer Posted July 10, 2016 Share Posted July 10, 2016 To me it sounds like internal bleeding and unfortunately there is nothing you can do for that. It usually looks like a dark round discoloration of the skin. I know there is a common parasite that firefish can get but you will see it externally by the fishes gills. Link to comment
