Bio cube 29 filtration

I currently have stock filter floss, bio balls, and seachem matrix in the middle compartment. I just ordered the infant media basket. My question is will I be able to remove the bio balls, and matrix from the tank without disturbing the balance too much, or should I keep the matrix next to the media basket? My tank is currently about 9 months old and has about 25lbs of LR. I want to put filter floss, Purigen, and chemipure blue in the basket.

infant media basket.

inTank IMO

Take a handful out every few days. Then siphon the chamber and install the basket.

I think you will be happy with inTank baskets, not sure about infant though, might be too small. As a matter of fact I LOVE the INTANK baskets SO much I MIGHT order them for my just set up rsm e260.

Hahaha I hope not. I added phosgaurd to my filtration, and a new torch coral and I started getting micro bubbles but can't seem to figure out why. I haven't installed he media basket yet. I was thinking maybe a reaction from the glue and epoxy. Any ideas

Water falling into second chamber could be doing it. Theres an overflow notch in wall between second and third towards top, make sure water level below that or plug it with foam. Also make sure foam block in third chamber is there. Remember to clean or replace it once in a while to.

I bought a block at lfs and cut it to fit. It might be ok without, I was growing cheato in 2nd chamber so I had to have it. I imaginge cleaning it regularly you would be ok, its not a very big sponge and it will keep lots of nasties from going back into display.
