Greetings all,

Over the past several months, the hobby bug has really bitten me, so I decided to dust off a picotope I had lying around, gather some equipment, and get it going.

Equipment

Lights - AquaMaxx 18 watt Nemolight

Filtration/circulation - Fluval 106 canister filter

DIY Upflow Algae Turn Scrubber

Approximately 3 lbs of dry pukani from bulk reef supply, a 5 lb bag of live sand, and some seeder rock from my 20 gallon tank got things going. Things were setup and aquascaped a while back, just been waiting on final equipment to be in place before I start adding the cool stuff. That being said there is already a CUC in there.

And now, some pictures:

Thanks man, the dry pukani from BRS was really fun to work with. Lots of interesting surfaces and angles to play with. I'm excited about getting some of the featured inhabitants I have planned for this tank.

Any updates? How do you like the light? I'm thinking of pulling out my old picotope also! I had a par38 on mine previously. Good start on yours!
