Bcb577
Hey all newer but not totally new here.I have a coralife biocube 14 gallon, and it came stock with the bioballs which at the time I assumed since coralife made it with them then all should be ok.I now after a col months know that my live sand and rock work should be ok without the bioballs.I'm looking at the intake media basket, but have a col questions?how do I get rid of the bioballs without crashing my tank?is there a way to use the media basket without cutting the wall between first and second chamber?when I set my tank up I didn't leave much room for leverage for cutting the tank,is there any other means of filtration I can use,I'm not wanting to use cheato and add yet another light to keep it growing.I'm on a tight budget that's why I went with an aio setup, now I find out it's no good.any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Pjanssen
I would gradually start taking the bioballs out. you can start putting some floss in as you get room. I don't think you need to cut the walls between the chambers to add an InTank media basket, maybe just a flap. Not 100% sure though. I have the coralife 29 and just took out a small piece on the floor of the second chamber. I think if you contact Steve at InTank he will answer all of your questions. InTank media baskets are the best! Link to comment
