Ibuyen
Setup Photo Cycling Add some stuff from ReefCleaners Added powerhead and Fan due to heating Pink Spotted Watchman Goby Was scared to add him to my 55 due to already having a yellow watchman. I always wanted another firefish but due to them being so shy always hide and never came out. It took this one a few days to come out but lately has been out a lot . Link to comment
Ibuyen
Placed a order with GioReef (Member on Here) Added some Caulerpa prolifera, Grape caulerpa, gracilaria mammillaris, and Codium this piece lasted here for few days till a snail moved it off Link to comment
Ibuyen
here is a photo of what I think is Halimeda Incrassata. Since it been in my tank I have seen the tips on the top fall off. Almost looks like it crumbles off. Should I be removing these from the tank or let them go into the sand get used by other macros as nutrients ? I have been see new growth in dark green. Mermaid Fan I am little worried about the peeling and separation of the one side. I know both of these use a lot of calcium and i need to check on those levels in the tank. Link to comment
BRTNreef
cool tank , any plans for future? Link to comment
Ibuyen
Add more macros. Might change the lights up. Link to comment
yoshii
Purple sponge? Macros? This tank is going to be great. The only thing I'd recommend changing is one of the bulbs, replace 1 actinic with a whiter bulb, the macros and your eyes will thank you Link to comment
Ibuyen
Does anyone know a recommended number for a good calcium level for macro algae? Same as coral? Looking to place a order at live-plants soon. Also Looking for Gorgs and this seems to be cheaper and easiest to find. Little worried about two day usps shipping. Few Macros Types I am looking at are Cymopolia barbata Bryothamnion triquetrum Coralline Cluster (Fine Branched) Laurencia iridescens Purple sponge? Macros? This tank is going to be great. One main reason reason I did this tank was because I was jealous of your old 10. I will switch out a bulb soon for a whiter one, I think I have a 10k sitting around but I didn't want to be overpowered with white. I might also put on two 12" Ecoxotic stunner strips. (white and magenta) instead of changing a bulb. Link to comment

Ibuyen
Added Blue hypnea today, glues it to some rocks on the side. Came in little rough but I know this is a tough shipper. I think it will make it hopefully. I also switched a bulb for a 10k if you haven't noticed Link to comment
Ibuyen
Little recap blue hypnea didn't make it, rough shipper and have had this happen before. Maybe I can find locally, I liked how I had it on the rock. Added a gorg, and four new macros to the tank. The shell piece was all the extra pieces I found in the bag. Green citron goby isn't in this tank but my 55. New addition there. Link to comment
devaji108
nice! I am thinking about adding a green clown goby to my 20L bummer the blue hypnea did not make it I have lots a cpl macro aswell... Link to comment
Ibuyen
It's a neat little guy, my damsels seem to rule the 55 so he hides on in the the one corner in the barnacles a lot besides feeding time. Add a toadstool to this tank today, mainly because it seems like always one of my first corals in each tank. Link to comment
Ibuyen
So I placed an order for red branching macro and blue scroll, from a well know place. I order from this company thru ebay before and it was great. this time i did from their site. this was on like the 7th on this month. so two weeks go by and nothing. I sent emails and replys to order received confirmations emails. Nothing from them. File a paypal claim which i am not even sure if I was able to do. well last night I finally got a email from them saying order was shipped. I guess LA was Behind in orders or something, but I never got any emails to them saying why my order is so delayed. Link to comment
Ibuyen
My la order was finally received, blue scroll aglae and red branching macro. The red branching macro as they had it labeled is very tiny. Less then 2 inches I need to take a picture of it, it is really cool looking. Nothing like any of the other types of macros I have in the tank. As for the blue scroll aglae I am not sure how to mount it or where to put it. Not quite sure which side if one should grow be turned facing the light either. The blue scroll aglae also came with Aiptasia, another reason why I might not order from la again. I had great luck with peppermint shrimp so I added one to the tank. Also added this guy, not sure of name. Link to comment
