MarsRover
Hey all, Looking for an ID on this one. Flat skeletal structure (at this time) it seems pretty thin, like it grows this way rather than someone just bandsaw'd it. If it had sweeper tentacles around its mouths I'd guess it's an Acan but I haven't seen any sweepers, even during night feelings. There are distinct lobe-y mouths on it however. I've never touched a challace but the way it feels is how I expect a challace to feel when touched, pretty "squishy" on top, solid skeleton on bottom, not much retraction when touched (unlike Acans I've encountered/own where you touch them and the flesh retracts until you pretty much only feel skeleton on top) Ideas on ID? I can post more pictures if necessary. These pictures I just balanced it on top of a lobe of LR hoping to show how thin the body is. Thanks folks Link to comment
MarsRover
Hrmm.... I have a favia and it doesn't look like that to me. Though, I only have experience with this one type of favia. Do you have a genus/species you're thinking of specifically?? Again, my favia also shows crazy sweeper tenacles.this one has never in the few weeks I've had em. Thanks Link to comment
