krusing93
those are for sure snail offspring they will move if you look close enough they are kinda annoying but not the worlds biggest pest Link to comment
Hammerstone
Those look like those worms that make a circle like she'll. I forget the name of them. Something with an s. I have them in my tank too. Someone on here told me what they were. I was thinking they were baby snails. You can just brush them off. Link to comment
NanoReefer27
Yeah there are literally at least 100, if I leave them on the back will they hatch? I would not mind having a couple extra snails as I am sure they will not all survive. And they are turbo snails in the tank. Link to comment
aviator300
They are not eggs, they are Spirobid worms and not harmful at all. http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/132956-the-ultimate-id-thread-before-you-post-whats-this-look-here/?p=1309401 Link to comment

NanoReefer27
Worms? They are pretty hard shells. Is there any benefit to these or should I scrape them off? Link to comment
Hammerstone
The worms are in the shells. They are filter feeders and don't really do anything. They come right off.? Link to comment

Hammerstone
I also have a rather nice collection of limpets. Tank is two years old and I still find new things!!! Link to comment
drexel
I actually have red "nudibranchs" or sea hares that eat spirorbid worms. I'm not sure how I got them, but I still see them from time to time. They don't eat anything but the spirorbid worms, hence their red coloration. http://www.seaslugforum.net/showall/vaysfeli Link to comment
NanoReefer27
Ha that is awesome. If only the ole LFS had those! Link to comment
