Custom build 100 gallon with a DIY Algae Turf Scrubber.

I have done a few alterations to my sump  and the tank has moved on since the last time I posted so I will update my sump spec as of the 11/06/1017

I am in the UK been reefkeeping for around 35 years. This is my latsest project.

Tank specs.

AC Aquatics tank and stand. Stand in Ultra White Gloss.
54" long by 20" deep by 19" front to back with Starfire front glass and corner RH weir and overflow.
2 x Maxspect 150 gyres.

1 x Maxspect 130 gyre

2 x Tunze 6040 nanostream wave maker pump.

 

 

Sump.

36" long x 17" deep x 12" front to back,
Sump equipment.
Jebao 1DC8000 return pump.
Nyos Quantum 160 skimmer

Avast Swabbie. 
Genio 120 calcium reactor

Marine Scourses CO2 scrubber.
25mm Siporax in a DIY egg crate basket. 12" x 8" x9" (you do the maths lol)
Aqua Medic Multi medium reactor with PO4 media

Aqua Medic Multi small reactor with PO4 media 
Atlantis 2 waterfall ATS
Aqua Medic 500w Titanium heater Wired to a ATC800 external thermostat.
Tunze ATU with 20ltr reservoir

 

Lighting.

1 x Radion XR40 gen 3 pro 2 x XR15 Gen 3 Pro's  Reeflink control.

1X 4' colour enhancing LED bare. 

 

In Tank.

1.1/2" of Reef flowers Pearl White Sand 1 to 1.4mm grain size (medium)
Living rock.
Numerous SPS and LPS corals most grown by me from frags in my previous tank all of which have been transferred over to this new one.
Various small fish with just one small yellow tang.

Thanks, I appreciate it. The tank has some way to go in terms of maturing of the corals esp the SPS mostly grown from frags with some transferred from my previous tank over to this one. Unfortunately, I was born with the if it ain't broken fix it bug of which there is ni known cure.

I sold my 4 x AI Hydra 26s and currently have Radions 1x XR30 Gen 3 pro reef with 2x XR15s Gen 3 pros either side. I will soon move to 3x XR30 gen 3 pros however.
