Would this be to much flow for a 10 gallon sps tank if so can anyone recommend a good one that's not as expensive as the mp-10

I wasn't even aware that jebo-jecod upgraded the rw models. I'm fishing that's the equivalence of a wp-10 or rw-4 so I think you'll be good.

looks like it just removed the suction cup from the mount, probably to avoid the patent case from hydor. funny.

Yeah, the PP4 is the newest model. It's roughly the equivalent of the WP10 and RW4. The WP10 has the older style controller, while the RW4 and PP4 have the newer style. The only difference between the RW4 and the PP4 is the mount. I believe the PP4 did away with the suction cup + magnet mount combo and replaced it with a stronger magnet.

 

I have a PP4 on my Biocube 14 and I love it. It takes a bit to get the flow dialed in for your exact flow requirements, but it's well worth it, IMO. For me, I run it in W1 mode with 50% intensity with the dial that determines the frequency of the pulses at 75%.

So awesome to see this post, I bought 1 pp4 for my 25g nano, all I heard on this site was mp10 and such... saw this on amazon and damn 500 to 5000 liters ph. 132gph to 1300ish. Not set up yet but used it during water test. Low is a lot in 25g, max it spits it out the tank
