Trumpet in distress

I introduced a neon green trumpet last Tuesday that has not opened. LFS recommended leaving him for 5 days then moving him to a shadier spot if he still hadn't opened, which I did, but still no success. He's got three heads and they're all shut tight. Currently have him in the bottom 1/3 and sheltered under the shadow of a rock.
