Nehsmit
I have a small 24g tank and had a pistol shrimp for years. Kept the sand perfectly clean. I had a sand sifting goby as well. Kept the "sand" bed great. Both died over a period of a few months and now my crushed coral bed is getting NASTY. Looking to get something ASAP. What would you recommend? Ive heard sand sifting star, cucumber, another pistol, etc. Thoughts are appreciated. KEEP IN MIND I HAVE CRUSHED CORAL. Thanks in advance Link to comment
Clown79
I had crushed coral in my old 55g. I was told it was very difficult to maintain...to be honest I had less issues with it than sand. I had nassarius snails, they were great cleaners. My advice is vacuum the crushed coral regularly. If you haven't been, I would start doing light vacuuming in small sections during water changes so you don't disturb too much at once. Link to comment
