FlowerMama
Bristle worm- normal part of reefs, it's a good guy, cleans up. Some people get freaked by them when they get larger/longer. Link to comment
SideCar_Falcon619
bristle worm Thank you! I was pretty sure but when you're brand new and only 5 days in, you don't take chances lol Link to comment
FlowerMama
Thank you! I was pretty sure but when you're brand new and only 5 days in, you don't take chances lol Correct, always ask, and research, don't buy a fish then bring it home and then ask- like you said, don't take chances/risks and don't rush a thing. Enjoy the discoveries!!! You'll probably spot something 8 mos from now that was so miniscule you never saw it before and it'll stay hidden until one day you're like, uh, what is this? It's all fun. I think that's the coolest thing for me is finding stuff in the tank that you didn't purposely bring home lol Link to comment
FlowerMama
I was excited about everything. Every tiny feather, every wisp of algae, pods, peanut worm, colonista snails, hot pink coraline before it turns etc. When starting up a new tank I'm still thrilled every time. Enjoy and keep posting. Search function is great to just put a key word and go. That's how I started learning. It brought me to people's tanks that I enjoyed and next thing you know you're following and reading and learning, and one day you realize, oh, I know some of this by now. Link to comment
SideCar_Falcon619
That's a eunicid worm That's a new one.... Reef safe? Link to comment
Tamberav
Looks like a bristle worm to me, not a eunicid. Seems more bristle like than legs. Link to comment
brandon429
Agree hard to tell with no head lol both are reef commoners. Given a choice I'd wish for a bristle vs the eunicid they look like the tremors creature Link to comment

PH: 8 Ammonia: 0.25 NO2-: 0 NO3-: 5.0 ish (That one is kinda hard for me to determine the color) Link to comment
